Winter

by Shayma Parveen

Slowly as autumn fades away
And the winter clouds comes our way
It fills the sky
And every gap we can or can’t see

And slowly and slowly
Little snowflakes fall at our feet
It fills up the ground with soft snow
And the ponds and rivers turn to ice

There is the snow
Which we all know
Which we see with our own eyes
We play and work in the ice

In it we run around to and fro
Slowly, but suddenly, the clouds go away
And so does the ice, that, we see with our eyes
Then comes spring our way.
